Choice paralysis is a real thing when your content catalog has thousands of iconic movies and series.
Enter Streams.
Launching with six always-on individually curated editorial “streams”. The creative challenge was to visually develop a feature identity for the first time, differentiate the artwork experience and ensure the solution was scalable and flexible for the future. All while aligning feedback from executives at the highest level across product, programming, studio, marketing and brand (over 20 stakeholders).
The design team launched and delivered a design-driven identity that is tied to our Disney+ brand to leverage existing equity, a strategic artwork solution that feels unique to the feature and flexibility that unlocks seasonal theming and global expansion.
The strategy has paid off with increased discovery rates, hours per viewer and global adoption of the guidelines and design direction.
