Indy arrived on Disney+ in a big way with all four original films, tv series, specials and a brand new entry to the catalog with The Dial of Destiny.
To celebrate, the Product Creative team, working directly with Lucasfilm, Disney Studio Marketing, Content Programming and our Franchise Marketing team coordinated a fan-centered showcase for the iconic adventurer.
This included adapting hand-painted original poster art by Drew Struzan to our platform requirements while preserving it’s creative integrity and inherent nostalgia. Building a themed, centralized, hub to quickly access all of the catalog. Creating Indy-inspired Disney Store artwork to give subscribers access to exclusive merchandise. And finally a custom snake pit-themed set with commemorative artwork to celebrate his arrival on Disney+.
The successful launch was celebrated by fans and studio teams alike while providing a fitting welcome for one our most celebrated characters.
